a word about the misérables

As long as it's a thing, by the goodness of rules and practice, cursed commands made by society, creating unnecessary hells among the civilizations of the world, combining human fortune to divine fortune; as long as the three biggest problems of our generation - the humiliation of men through poverty, the dishonesty about women through hunger, the ruining of children through sadness - is still happening; as long as social suffocation is possible anywhere; - that is, and with still a big importance, as long as there are still homeless living on the streets and uneducated people on this Earth, novels like Les Mis érables  can still be useful.

it's symbolic

1.)  Three examples of symbols that I encounter in life are looking at the time and seeing repeating  numbers (3:33, 2:22, 11:11, etc.). It could be a notification that pops up on my phone or seeing repeated words/phrases that speak to me.  2.) The color green symbolizes GO as in he should go and try to get Daisy to fall in love with him.  3.) People are similar to animals because we do the same things, we eat, sleep, reproduce, and then we die.  4.) Human's are different because we're able to fill our minds up with ideas and thoughts that animals can't think. We create stories and share ideas with each other, animals can't do this. 5.) Telling stories and inventing symbols can empower people to come together because there are many people who will agree or like the stories or symbols you're sharing. Take political opinions for example, if there are lots of people who share the same opinion when it comes to politics, they'll get together and be around each other

argument

How would you feel if you were thrown in a detention center? Forced to live in poor and unsanitary conditions? Being malnourished and neglected? Being forced to go through all this only for seeking refuge? I can guarantee you that you would not like it. This is what thousands of immigrants and immigrant children have to go through when crossing the border from Mexico to the United States. And all they're trying to do is find a better life here. In these detention centers they're being put through horrible living conditions, being neglected, and being separated from their families.     Many people in these detention camps are being forced to live in horrible and disgusting conditions. Both children and adults have gone weeks, or for all we know months, without toothpaste, soap, and places to shower/wash themselves. This is not sanitary at all and these poor people are being kept in these facilities with no other choice but to be dirty.      People in these camps are being n

i have the answers

The hardest part of starting school during the pandemic is balancing all the work, especially because I can't see the teacher in person. The thing I enjoyed most about starting school during the pandemic is being able to wear whatever I want without anyone seeing me. I can also look however I want because some of my classes don't require the cameras to be on. What I want to learn in this course is how to give more details while writing. What I want to get better at is to be a better writer overall and how to hook readers when reading my writings. A habit I should definitely stop is procrastinating.  This will definitely get in the way of my success, it's such a bad habit that I need to stop. I need more self-discipline as well. The grade I expect to earn on the semester report card is an A. The lowest is an A-. I refuse to let myself get lower than an A in this course and I will definitely try to be on top of my work.
