This chapter and its contents caught me by surprise if I'm being honest with you. I've never seen the bishop act the way he did towards the man. While reading I felt the tension between the bishop and the man, and the bishop was really cold towards the man. It was surprising to me because we've never seen the bishop act like this towards anyone, not even the senate who was insulting him and his beliefs.

Telling stories and inventing symbols can empower people to come together because there are many people who will agree or like the stories or symbols you're sharing. Take political opinions for example, if there are lots of people who share the same opinion when it comes to politics, they'll get together and be around each other

The bishop lives in a small house that doesn't have much decoration but he thinks it's enough. This tells me that he's a humble man that doesn't need a big house, he's perfectly fine with a small house. The house was old because he wanted to preserve it for as long as he could. He also kept no locks on his doors so that anyone could come into his house if they were in need of help. I find it amazing that he did this without being scared of any criminals breaking into his house. That shows that he puts others and their well-being before his own safety.
