it's symbolic

 1.)  Three examples of symbols that I encounter in life are looking at the time and seeing repeating  numbers (3:33, 2:22, 11:11, etc.). It could be a notification that pops up on my phone or seeing repeated words/phrases that speak to me.  2.) The color green symbolizes GO as in he should go and try to get Daisy to fall in love with him.  3.) People are similar to animals because we do the same things, we eat, sleep, reproduce, and then we die.  4.) Human's are different because we're able to fill our minds up with ideas and thoughts that animals can't think. We create stories and share ideas with each other, animals can't do this. 5.) Telling stories and inventing symbols can empower people to come together because there are many people who will agree or like the stories or symbols you're sharing. Take political opinions for example, if there are lots of people who share the same opinion when it comes to politics, they'll get together and be around each ...

les mis part 1 summary

     What we've read so far in Les Mis is a lot about the bishop and the life that he chose to live. In the beginning, he had anything he could ever ask for. Then, sadly, he lost it all. He even lost his wife. After this sad ordeal happened to the him, he decided to move to Italy and start a new life. Here, he became a bishop in the Catholic church. He changed his ways of living and turned into this new person who was kind, caring, giving, selfless, and humble.      The bishop did many kind and thoughtful things for people, some who may not have even deserved it. The bishop became a man who wasn't materialistic, and was humble. He did kind acts like giving almost all of his money to the poor and needy. He let people who didn't have a place to go sleep in his house. He didn't even keep a lock on his front door so that it allowed anyone to come in and seek shelter if they needed to. The things like these that he did had a great and positive impact on people. ...

how we read

Reading is supposed to be fun, but sometimes reading for school is a challenge. Here are four ways we can have more fun reading and do it better at the same time.  First, you need to find a book you love or at least like. By finding a book you like, it'll make the experience of reading more enjoyable for you. And instead of looking at reading as a "chore", you'll find it as more of a hobby or something fun to do. Second, if there is a book you don't like or find boring, there are many people out there who find that book interesting. I suggest you find out why others find that book interesting, this way, it might change your perspective on it. Who knows, you might view it from a different point of view and you might like it!  Third, you need to think about how YOU define the word "read". Is it a good thing to you? An annoying thing? Something you just don't care for? How do you define it? You should start looking at it as more than just words on page....
